Data syncs only between your own iPhone and Apple Watch (WatchConnectivity). It is included in your device backups according to your Apple settings. Deleting the app deletes its data.
Permissions we ask for
- Location (“While Using”, and “Always” only to keep recording with the screen off): to record rides and to calculate sunset offline for the automatic light.
- Bluetooth: to connect to your e-bike and read its status.
- Apple Health (optional): to save rides as cycling workouts with their route, and to read cycling workouts and, on Apple Watch, heart rate during a ride. Health data stays in Apple Health and is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
- Notifications: local alerts (low battery, bike left on, service). They are generated on the device.
Apple services and links
Maps are shown with Apple MapKit; Apple receives the map requests needed to draw them (see Apple’s privacy policy). Siri shortcuts are processed by Apple. The “Spare part” button opens your browser on a shop’s search page (Urban Drive, eCraft or a shop you choose) with the part name; from then on that shop’s privacy policy applies. Ringvolt adds no tracking or affiliate parameters.
What we don’t do
- No accounts, no servers of our own, no cloud sync.
- No advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party SDKs.
- We don’t sell or share data.
- We never modify your bike’s firmware, region or speed limits.
Ringvolt is not directed at children under 13.
If you email us or join the beta
If you write to [email protected] (including “Notify me”), we use your address and message only to reply or to tell you about the launch once. It is held by our email provider, not shared, and deleted when no longer needed (at the latest 12 months after our last contact) or sooner on request. Beta testing runs on Apple’s TestFlight, which shows us the invited email and — if you allow it — crash reports, device data and feedback, under Apple’s privacy policy. App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
This website
ringvolt.app uses no cookies, analytics, external fonts or scripts. It only stores your chosen language in your browser (localStorage). It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical connection data (such as IP address) to serve and protect it.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of any data we hold about you (in practice, only emails) at [email protected]. You can complain to the Swiss FDPIC or your EU data protection authority. Laws: Swiss nFADP and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
Changes
If the app’s data handling changes, we will update this page and the date above first.

Daten werden nur zwischen deinem eigenen iPhone und deiner Apple Watch synchronisiert (WatchConnectivity) und sind gemäss deinen Apple-Einstellungen im Geräte-Backup enthalten. Mit der App werden auch ihre Daten gelöscht.
Berechtigungen
- Standort («Beim Verwenden», «Immer» nur, um mit ausgeschaltetem Bildschirm weiter aufzuzeichnen): für Touren und um den Sonnenuntergang offline für das automatische Licht zu berechnen.
- Bluetooth: um dein E-Bike zu verbinden und seinen Status zu lesen.
- Apple Health (freiwillig): Touren als Radtraining mit Route speichern sowie Radtrainings und auf der Apple Watch die Herzfrequenz während der Tour lesen. Gesundheitsdaten bleiben in Apple Health, werden nie für Werbung genutzt oder an Dritte gegeben.
- Mitteilungen: lokale Hinweise (Akku schwach, Bike vergessen, Service), auf dem Gerät erzeugt.
Apple-Dienste und Links
Karten zeigt Apple MapKit; Apple erhält die dafür nötigen Kartenanfragen (siehe Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple). Siri-Kurzbefehle verarbeitet Apple. Die Taste «Ersatzteil» öffnet deinen Browser auf der Suchseite eines Shops (Urban Drive, eCraft oder ein Shop deiner Wahl) mit dem Teilenamen; dort gilt dessen Datenschutzerklärung. Ringvolt fügt keine Tracking- oder Affiliate-Parameter hinzu.
Was wir nicht tun
- Keine Konten, keine eigenen Server, keine Cloud-Synchronisation.
- Keine Werbung, Analyse, kein Tracking, keine SDKs Dritter.
- Wir verkaufen oder teilen keine Daten.
- Wir verändern nie Firmware, Region oder Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung deines Bikes.
Ringvolt richtet sich nicht an Kinder unter 13 Jahren.
Wenn du uns schreibst oder testest
Schreibst du an [email protected] (auch über «Benachrichtige mich»), nutzen wir Adresse und Nachricht nur, um zu antworten oder dich einmal über den Start zu informieren. Sie liegen bei unserem E-Mail-Anbieter, werden nicht weitergegeben und gelöscht, wenn sie nicht mehr nötig sind (spätestens 12 Monate nach dem letzten Kontakt), oder früher auf Wunsch. Tests laufen über Apples TestFlight, das uns die eingeladene E-Mail und – wenn du es erlaubst – Absturzberichte, Gerätedaten und Feedback zeigt, gemäss Apples Datenschutzrichtlinie. Käufe im App Store wickelt Apple ab.
Diese Website
ringvolt.app nutzt keine Cookies, keine Analyse, keine externen Schriften oder Skripte. Im Browser (localStorage) wird nur die gewählte Sprache gespeichert. Gehostet bei Cloudflare, das technische Verbindungsdaten (z. B. IP-Adresse) verarbeitet, um die Seite auszuliefern und zu schützen.
Deine Rechte
Auskunft, Berichtigung oder Löschung der Daten, die wir über dich haben (praktisch nur E-Mails), kannst du unter [email protected] verlangen. Beschwerden beim EDÖB oder bei deiner EU-Datenschutzbehörde. Rechtsgrundlagen: revDSG und, wo anwendbar, DSGVO.
Änderungen
Ändert sich der Umgang der App mit Daten, aktualisieren wir zuerst diese Seite und das Datum oben.

Los datos solo se sincronizan entre tu propio iPhone y tu Apple Watch (WatchConnectivity) y entran en la copia de seguridad del dispositivo según tus ajustes de Apple. Al borrar la app se borran sus datos.
Permisos que pedimos
- Ubicación («Al usar la app», y «Siempre» solo para seguir grabando con la pantalla apagada): para grabar rutas y calcular sin internet la puesta de sol para la luz automática.
- Bluetooth: para conectar con tu e-bike y leer su estado.
- Salud (opcional): para guardar las rutas como entrenos de ciclismo con su recorrido, y leer entrenos de ciclismo y, en el Apple Watch, el ritmo cardiaco durante la ruta. Los datos de salud se quedan en Salud y nunca se usan para publicidad ni se comparten con terceros.
- Notificaciones: avisos locales (batería baja, bici olvidada encendida, taller), generados en el dispositivo.
Servicios de Apple y enlaces
Los mapas se muestran con Apple MapKit; Apple recibe las peticiones de mapa necesarias para dibujarlos (ver la política de privacidad de Apple). Los atajos de Siri los procesa Apple. El botón «Repuesto» abre tu navegador en la búsqueda de una tienda (Urban Drive, eCraft o la que elijas) con el nombre de la pieza; a partir de ahí rige la política de esa tienda. Ringvolt no añade parámetros de rastreo ni de afiliado.
Lo que no hacemos
- Sin cuentas, sin servidores propios, sin sincronización en la nube.
- Sin publicidad, analítica, rastreo ni SDK de terceros.
- No vendemos ni compartimos datos.
- Nunca modificamos el firmware, la región ni los limitadores de velocidad de tu bici.
Ringvolt no está dirigida a menores de 13 años.
Si nos escribes o pruebas la beta
Si escribes a [email protected] (también con «Avísame»), usamos tu dirección y tu mensaje solo para responderte o avisarte una vez del lanzamiento. Lo guarda nuestro proveedor de correo, no lo compartimos y lo borramos cuando ya no hace falta (como máximo 12 meses después del último contacto) o antes si lo pides. La beta va por TestFlight, de Apple, que nos muestra el correo invitado y, si lo permites, informes de fallos, datos del dispositivo y comentarios, según la política de privacidad de Apple. Las compras en la App Store las gestiona Apple.
Esta web
ringvolt.app no usa cookies, analítica, fuentes ni scripts externos. Solo guarda en tu navegador (localStorage) el idioma elegido. Se aloja en Cloudflare, que procesa datos técnicos de conexión (como la IP) para servirla y protegerla.
Tus derechos
Puedes pedir acceso, rectificación o supresión de los datos que tengamos de ti (en la práctica, solo correos) en [email protected], y reclamar ante el FDPIC/EDÖB suizo o tu autoridad de protección de datos de la UE. Marco legal: nLPD suiza y, cuando aplique, el RGPD.
Cambios
Si cambia el tratamiento de datos de la app, actualizaremos antes esta página y la fecha de arriba.
